We believe as the only secondary school in Queenstown, WHS is truly one of the most valuable assets in our community. Our vision is that all WHS students are enabled to meet their potential in a supportive and well-resourced environment. To meet this goal we need the support of our community, local businesses and alumni.

Our support allows WHS to increase the amount of teaching and learning resources available to all students as well as supporting a vast range of extracurricular activities and the Awhi Fund.

Who can forget attending the iconic Branches Camp?
A school camp like no other, hundreds of youngsters from Wakatipu High School have discovered themselves through this camp, an unmatched outdoor experience.

Our friends at Branches Trust have launched a fabulous fundraiser with their book Long drops and Hard knocks - celebrating 50 years of the Branches Camp.
