Sarah Dennis

Sarah Dennis has been a registered nurse for 19 years, having earned her nursing degree at Otago after graduating from Wakatipu High School. Since her student days, Sarah has been deeply involved in the Queenstown community, demonstrating leadership as the Fox House leader during her time at WHS. She was recognized for her volunteer work with St John during her Wakatipu years with the Margaret McHugh Community Service Award in her senior year.
For the past five years, Sarah has been instrumental in leading the nursing team at Queenstown Medical Centre at an operational level. Known for her ability to "get stuff done," Sarah combines her caring nature, nursing education, and community awareness to provide guidance and drive development initiatives. Outside of work, Sarah is dedicated to her role as a parent to three children currently attending WHS, alongside her nieces and nephews, this enriching her perspective on community needs and engagement.
