Steve McIsaac
Trustee
Steve has built his career in commercial property across New Zealand, with experience in valuation, development and real estate brokerage. Having moved with his wife to Queenstown in 2003, he has strong connections to the local community and to Wakatipu High School, where both of their children were educated.
Through his involvement in 1st XV rugby and touch rugby, Steve has seen first-hand the positive impact sport can have on students. He is proud to support the Foundation’s goal of helping Wakatipu High School students reach their potential in a supportive, well-resourced environment.
Steve is a director and shareholder of Gasco South Island and Stoke Fireplace Studio, and also works as a commercial real estate agent throughout New Zealand. Outside of work and supporting his children through university, Steve and his wife enjoy making the most of the region’s many golf courses.
Over the past 23 years, Steve has contributed to Wakatipu High School Rugby Club, Wakatipu Junior Rugby Club, Otago Country Rugby, Southland Touch, Wakatipu High School Touch and Remarkables Primary School Rippa Rugby. He has also served as Chair of Frankton Kindergarten.
He currently sits on the Queenstown Airport Liaison Committee and the Jacks Point Residents and Owners Association, and is a member of the Jacks Point Design Review Board.
