Are you interested in supporting youth at WHS?
We are seeking new Trustees to join the WHS Foundation Board and provide hands-on involvement as the WHS Foundation continues to drive community engagement and financial support for WHS. Trustee positions are on a voluntary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about the Wakatipu community, youth education and has the time available to contribute to a multi-faceted organisation and our future aspirations.
WHS Foundation seeks Trustees with a broad background and while a range of skills would be welcome those with sponsorship and stakeholder business development and engagement, financial management and event experience would be of particular interest.
Established in 2013, the Wakatipu High School Foundation is a charitable trust, working with our community to support a world-class, all-round education for the youth of the Wakatipu Basin.
Our vision is that all WHS students are enabled to meet their potential in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
We are proud to work with the Wakatipu Community to provide $200,000 annually to support a wide range of initiatives that make a real and lasting impact on the youth of the Wakatipu Basin.
