Ticket sales for the Wakatipu High School Foundation Awhi Fundraising Raffle are open from 10.00AM 01/11/2023 to 5.00PM 30/11/2023.

Every ticket purchase helps us to support students at Wakatipu High School through our Awhi Support Fund. The Awhi Support Fund ensures all students at Wakatipu High School have equitable access to all the many educational opportunities available to them.
Prize 1: A 6-NIGHT FIORDLAND CRUISE FOR TWO VALUED AT $15,000
Prize 2: PAK'nSAVE GROCERY VOUCHERS TO THE VALUE OF $5,200
Prize Terms & Conditions:
1. A 6-NIGHT FIORDLAND CRUISE FOR TWO VALUED AT $15,000*
Description: A Fiordland Discovery 6-night cruise of Fiordland National Park and Te Wahipounamu World Heritage site for two guests aboard the Fiordland Jewel on a scheduled departure in May or June 2024.
Stay in one of nine cabins (either king twin or super king double) with your own private ensuite and enjoy activities and chef-prepared cuisine. Includes a scenic helicopter ride directly on or off board the Fiordland Jewel.
1. Not redeemable for cash
2. Ex Te Anau or Manapouri only
3. Transport to Te Anau or Manapouri is not included and is the responsibility of the winner
4. Redemption of this prize is subject to availability
5. Must be redeemed in May or June 2024
6. Recipients must adhere to the T&Cs of Fiordland Discovery
2. $5,200 OF PAK'nSAVE GROCERY VOUCHERS
These will be provided to the winner as PAK'nSAVE Gift Cards to the retail value of $5,200. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, or be used towards the purchase of another card. Liquor and tobacco products shall not be purchased with the vouchers. The Wakatipu High School Foundation and PAK'nSAVE will not be responsible for any Gift Card that may be lost, stolen or damaged.
As this prize is provided as PAK'nSAVE Gift Cards, the gift cards will adhere to PAK'nSAVE Gift Card terms and conditions including the below:
A PAK'nSAVE Gift Card expires 2 years from the day of purchase or, if relevant, its last top up. Any unused balance remaining on the gift card at expiry will not be refunded or credited
A Gift Card is a plastic card which may contain any pre-purchased amount between $10 and $1000. Gift Cards are redeemable at any PAK'nSAVE nationwide.

The prizes are final and cannot be exchanged. The winner is required to provide personal identification for verification. All winners will be notified in writing. Attempts will also be made to notify the winners via telephone and/or email on the day of the draw. All winners must sign and return a prize acceptance letter. This may be provided electronically.
Each ticket costs $20 NZD and includes GST. The total number of tickets available in the Wakatipu High School Foundation Awhi Fundraising Raffle is 3,000 ranging from ticket numbers 0001 to 3000 inclusive.
Results will be determined by a random number generator. The lottery will be drawn on the premises of Wakatipu High School at 12.00PM on 4 December 2023 under supervision of an independent witness in accordance with Rule 6 (14) of the Gambling Act (Lottery) Game Rules 2004. The winners will be declared by blind selection of included ticket numbers. Results will be published in the Mountain Scene newspaper on 7 December 2023. In the event of cancellation this will be published in the Mountain Scene newspaper and the Wakatipu High School Foundation website on 30 November 2023, and all money will be refunded. Should early cancellation of this Lottery be necessary, notification will be sent via email to all ticket holders and a notice put into the Mountain Scene newspaper and all money refunded.
The last day to collect the prize is 12 January 2024.
Entry is only open to those aged 18 years or over at the time of ticket purchase. Employees, contractors, shareholders, Committee Members and their immediate families (being partners, children and parents) of the following organisations are not eligible to enter the competition: Wakatipu High School Foundation, VEGA Works.
The Wakatipu High School Foundation Awhi Fundraising Raffle is transacted electronically. All ticket sales are made online and all communication of ticket numbers and other Lottery details will be provided via email. A current email address must be provided to participate in the Lottery. A current physical address must be provided for identification purposes, but tickets will not be mailed. A current phone number is requested to enable winners to be contacted on the day of the draw.
Donations to the Wakatipu High School Foundation may be made when purchasing tickets. All donations of $5 or more are eligible for a tax credit from the IRD. A tax receipt will be issued within 10 days of the close of the Lottery.
If you authorise it, your name and contact details will be retained to keep you informed about future Wakatipu High School Foundation promotional events or fundraising activities that may be of interest to you.
