The Queenstown Half Marathon Business Tie Challenge

Suit Up! is a Wakatipu Business Tie Challenge pitting 20 local businesses against each other to raise funds for youth education in the Wakatipu Basin while running the iconic Queenstown Half Marathon. Registration of your business team of three into the Suit Up! Business Tie Challenge includes three entries into the Queenstown Half Marathon.

You'll be challenged to train, raise funds for Wakatipu Youth, run the Queenstown Half Marathon and in the spirit of friendly competition, there are plenty of prizes to be won as well as the bragging rights of being the fittest business in Queenstown!
All proceeds will go to the WHS Foundation and Branches Trust.

Round up your workmates, lace up your shoes and get ready to run for Wakatipu youth!

Suit Up! is a Business Tie Competition at the Queenstown Half Marathon.

The Queenstown Half Marathon course is mainly flat with some undulations to keep it interesting. The course offers a unique mix of running terrain including smooth hard-packed trails and road running. Learn More.

GIVING BACK. ONE STEP AT A TIME.
Each Business team will be running to raise funds for WHS Foundation and the Branches Trust.
​
Alongside the team entry, each business team will be asked to fundraise $1,500 ($500 per runner).
​
All proceeds from the Suit Up! Business Tie Challenge will go to support our goals of supporting all Wakatipu High School to Reach for their Heights.
​
Together, we can continue to make a real and lasting impact on the educational future of the Wakatipu region.

Suit up and impress the judges with your attire. Team and Individual Prizes available!
TOP BOSS
Awarded to the Boss to complete the Queenstown Half Marathon with the best time.
PRINCIPAL PARTICIPATION AWARD
Individual Prizes (Male / Female) for the individuals that display the best effort.
SUPPORTING WAKATIPU YOUTH
Suit Up! is a fundraiser for the WHS Foundation and Branches Trust to support the students of WHS.

We believe as the only secondary school in Queenstown, WHS is truly one of the most valuable assets in our community. Our vision is for all WHS students to be enabled to meet their potential in a supportive and well-resourced environment.
The WHS Foundation's support is integral to WHS ability to offer a quality, holistic education that meets the needs of all students in the Wakatipu Basin. We fund a range of initiatives annually which supports academic, sporting, and arts achievement, assists students who are experiencing financial hardship to fully participate in educational and extra-curricular opportunities as well as supporting the wellbeing of our school community.

The Branches Trust supports the iconic Year 10 Branches Camp - a rite of passage of Wakatipu Youth in operation since 1967. The Branches Charitable Trust fundraiser to offset the financial cost of the Branches Camp. By ensuring the continuity of the Branches Camp the Trust fulfills its primary objective in promoting, fostering and supporting the development of young men and women in the Wakatipu community.
